Hey guys I just want to tell you guys that in the next couple of days expected another video that  I’m doing. It’s going to be on Violent movies, and do they affect a person’s behavior. I’m going to get views on this from a person who doesn’t like violent movies to a person who does. I’m also going to talk about the survey that I did for this topic. I’m going to tell you guys the results and the results of the Virgina Tech experiment on violent movies . I’m also going to talk about some people that blamed movies for their behavior. John Hughes Movies timeline

 

Hey Guys so for my Multimedia class I had to do a timeline that was  Movie related since my blog is about movies. So I thought what would be an awesome timeline and one person came to mind the great late John Hughes. He has produce, written and directed a lot of movies.  While creating the timeline I seen many 90’s classics like Beethoven, The Breakfast club, Home Alone, Weird Science and Sixteen Candles and it doesn’t stop from there. The Timeline consists of the date the movie came to theaters and also a brieft description of the movie. There were shows that he also did too but I decided to keep my timeline to just his movies. The Incredible Burt Wonderstone Movie Review

I’ve been seeing commercials for this  upcoming movie for a while now. It just came out in theaters as of today! and Just by looking at the promos for The Incredible Burt Wonderstone I could say this looks like this could be a very funny movie.  Let’s start off with this amazing cast. It seems like the producers picked the best of the best and the funniest of all the funniest comedians.

The movie is about two magicians Burt Wonderstone played by Steve Carell and Anton Marvelton played by Steve Buscemi who felt like they were on top of the world with their classical magic acts. They may have been on top of the world like twenty years ago. While their acts are getting old a new modern day magician named Steve Gray played by Jim Carrey  is making a scene with crazy stunts that people are loving. So Burt get’s help from the person that made him start loving Magic in the first place, the magician Rance Holloway played by Alan Arkin to come up with crazy stunts of their own to hopefully get back their fame.  Can they do it? From what I’m seeing from the promo I would give it a 4 out of 5. I would give it all 5 points but hey  I haven’t seen it yet. It wouldn’t be fair to the movies I have already seen.

A very funny guy I would say best known for playing Michael Scott on the Office. He’s playing Burt Wonderstone a man who lived for magic since he was little when he got his first magic kit to be just like Rance. But since him and his child hood friend Anton’s  magic career is going down hill Burt tries to think of crazy stunts to get their fame back.

Jim Carry: 

This comedian got his first shot on In living color. He plays Steve Grey, A new popular up and coming  magian who does crazy stunts that are taking over the world.  One of his stunts is holding his pee for more then a human should. It’s funny because his character reminds me so much of Criss Angel.

Steve Buscemi:
Best known for some of his roll’s in the Cohen brother’s  films. Steve plays Anton Marvelton  Burt’s best friend and his magic sidekick.

Top 10 Favorite Disney movies

I feel like this is a Disney week or more of Disney day! Lets count down my top ten Disney movies:

Up:

If you must see any Disney movie ever it has to be this one! This movie has so many emotions that this  is one of the touching classics. Also if it’s not it should be.

Hercules:

I love this movie the underdog finally got his chance to be a hero and an star that’s Phil’s boy! this movie was about a young boy who just wanted to fit in but discovers that what lies in his blood is a destined hero.

Aladdin:

the street rat falls in love with a princess what a strange but adventures combination. Mix two worlds colliding, a genie, a magic carpet and a sassy monkey with a twist of an Arabian night together and you got yourself a beautiful love story.

Brave:

like mother like daughter…uh never that’s what madirth thought at first! this movie takes time out of finding true love and prince charming. to show a character that shows that girls can be powerful and brave. This movie is showing that all the love you need is between family.

Princess and the frog:

this movie was better the gumbo stew. Its about a hard working girl with a big dream but never realizing that life can throw curve and show you things that you never knew that you needed instead of actually wanted.

Wall-E:

Who doesn’t like this movie?! Wall-E is an adorable little robot who is the last of his kind on earth. Until he discovers that there are other robots like him but in a more futuristic (is that even a word?) world. Also seeing a love between Wall-E and Eve makes me kind of wish I had a love like that.

Tangled:

When Rapunzel  just wanted to see what she’s been missing outside of her trapped doors she discovers that there is so much that she’s been missing. Also it shows viewers how much she grown from this naive girl who thinks her “mother” knows best. To this girl whose saving men.

Beauty and the beast:

When a beautiful girl  named Bell falls in  love with a beast it kind of shows you that you can love someone regardless of what they look like. Also there’s dancing furniture with sassy what more can you ask for.

Toy story 3:

This movie touched me I saw it when I was graduating high school going off to college and so was Andy. But just thinking about leaving your childhood behind to move on to bigger things that touches you. Also growing up with this movie there’s a little of something in everything.

Prince of Egypt: 

I don’t know but just seeing the culture of the Egyptians amazes me. This movie has beautiful images. This movie brought viewers into Egypt while giving us a touching story and wonderful songs.

The Little Mermaid

 

Ariel last name….mermaid?

 

what can I say I’m a huge Disney fan! today I’m reviewing the little mermaid a great walt Disney classical made in 1989. the story is about a young mermaid named Ariel who falls in love for a charming human whoes a prince called Eric. she wants to give up her life now to walk on land to be with with the one she loves (prince Eric) even if that means giving up her prized possession her beautiful voice to the evil witch Ursula. The movie takes viewers on a ride with Ariel to prove  to prince Eric that shes the one that he fell in love with out the voice that made him fall in love.

As I watch this now that I’m older, I thought it was weird that she fell in love with a guy that she just met. Also she wanted to give up her family and her voice all for a guy that she barley knew..he could of have been married or already had a girlfriend( but it’s Disney that would never happen!) But in the end love always conquers evil. evil never wins in the land of Disney (sorry Ursula) I give The Little Mermaid a 4 out of 5 only because it did seem kind of rushed.

Movie slideshow story

For my Journalism class I had to do a Photo slideshow. It had to relate to my blog which is about movies so with the help of my three friends they made “Let’s watch this movie!” into a funny photo slide show. The story is below:

On a cold winter saturday night Joe and Bernard decided to take their movie tower apart. Each grabbed a movie as the rest of the movies fell to the ground.

Bernard wanted to watch The Craft while Joe wanted to season two of Warehouse 13. Both guys were angry they could never decide on anything.

Out from behind her hiding spot Jess looks at the two scared. She ask them both why don’t they watch Thor. They both look at her angrly then look at each other.

“Can you believe this?” asked Bernard.

“Who would want to watch that!??” asked Joe.

“Please Guys!” said Jess with a puppy dog pout.

They both soft up and gave in. They threw the movie in the and sat down on the bed but as they  watched on their faces changed.

…. apparently someone forgot to put the Thor disk back into it’s case oops.
